Azelaic Acid

Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid found in grains such as barley, wheat, and rye.

It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it effective in the treatment of skin conditions like acne and rosacea. The acid can prevent future outbreaks and clean bacteria from your pores that causes acne.

Azelaic Acid is commonly found in cosmetic formulations to help the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Azelaic Acid is a gentle exfoliator commonly used to help with uneven skin tone and is found in specialty products for hyperpigmentation

Azelaic Acid offers additional benefits that AHA and BHA ingredients don’t provide when it comes to evening skin tone. This product is stable and most effective at a pH greater than 4.5.

Solubility: Oil Soluble , Mix it with Oil first and then go ahead with emulsification.

Usage Percentage: 1 to 20%

How to use for Water Based Products (an Example):

1 Gram Azelic acid mix with 2 Grams of any oil of your choice , like olive squalane or CCTG,etc…

Mix that solution with 3 Grams of RH 40 (which is a solubalizer).

This resultant solution can be used in any Water based products

How to use for Oil Based Products (an Example):

1 Gram Azelic acid mix with 2 Grams of any oil of your choice , like olive squalane or CCTG,etc…

After emulsification of the product add this solution in it at 50 or 60 degrees or at end after cool down. Do not add it in the product when the temperature is above 60 degrees
